Clifford Bird

I began martial arts training as a teen to help deal with asthma and to learn self-defense. Eventually, I studied traditional Tae Kwon Do from a student of 8th degree Grandmaster Hwa Song Choe. Seven years prior to his passing, he was training me to be an instructor. When he passed in mid-January 1992 I was asked to assume responsibility for his school.
