Check Out Alexandria Fazzari Patton’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandria Fazzari Patton.

Hi Alexandria, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I have a degree in Theatre Arts and always thought I would become a stand-up comedian. My passion has always lied in making people smile. I was in the corporate world for 15 years: Florist, Banking, Barista, Accounting, Cake Decorator – you name it, I’ve done it! I found myself as a Supply Chain Director of an Aerospace company and realized I was just unhappy… I sat in it for six years thinking of what I could do to change my momentum and soon found Real Estate. Saw that I could combine my love for helping others and passion for putting smiles on peoples’ faces together! I’m trying to carve out a space for myself in this world. With humor and drive, I’m ready to take on the Real Estate industry! I’ve been told my superpower is immediately making others feel comfortable in any situation – I think I have finally found a place where I can direct that power to myself! I feel at home here in Real Estate. I get to use everything I learned from the corporate world and combine it with my “superpower” to ensure everyone I meet has a seamlessly great time finding their home.

I feel like I live like I’m running out of time… ensuring I live to the fullest every day.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been so smooth – I don’t think many people looking for themselves get off that easy! I struggle a lot with “never enough syndrome” – I work and work and never give myself the time to relish in the accomplishments! As I sit here and think of all the things I’ve accomplished it’s insane to say I’m 33. I built a clinic in Kenya, I have landed some dream roles in our local theatres, I bought a house, I was a Supply Chain Director, I’m in one of the most healthy relationships, I get to work with my friends and mentors every day… the list goes on and on! I think we all have pretty similar challenges: focus, consistency, drive. I’ve realized that you can’t let anyone else set your ceiling – you have to. And once that happens, doors open my friend! I struggled focusing my energy. I would constantly fight it and say to myself “a jack of all trades is a master of none”. But have you ever heard the full saying? It’s pretty freeing honestly. The whole saying is “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one”. Once I released the idea that I had to find my “one” thing, I was able to flourish in many different areas! It’s ok to spread your greatness and give many things your attention. Do you. Do what makes you happy.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am now in Real Estate and became a realtor last November. It’s been the best decision in my life! I am most proud of myself for making the leap. Steady income was appealing, but happiness and mental health was more important to me and I’m proud I chose me. Not many people can say that. It’s a risk I was willing to take. My life and career are blending more into who and where I want to be! When I purchased my home a couple years ago, I realized the impact a home can have… Excited to be a part of others journey to find themselves as well.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Man – I changed everything because of Covid. I think the world slowed down, which forced us to look in. Mental health is so important, family is so important… as Devon the Dude says: “you only get one ticket, might as well enjoy the ride”. It centered me. I realized what’s important. I want to live a life where I can wake up every day and be excited to be here. We weren’t meant to live any other way… Real Estate is allowing me to do that! I love people and I can’t wait to share such a huge event in someone’s life with them. I feel honored…
