Inspiring Conversations with Ayn Llopis of ACTvisory

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ayn Llopis. 

Hi Ayn, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey with numbers started back in 1992 when I took an accounting class my Senior Year in High School. I knew in that moment I wanted to be an Accountant. I went to college and got a degree in Finance with a minor in accounting. My first job was at Mobil Oil (before the merger with Exxon) and I have worked my way up in my career from Jr. Accountant to Corporate Controller. I have been Corporate Controller for the last 10 years in healthcare (skilled nursing facilities). For the past year, I have been a dualpreneur – working my 9 to 5 and running a side business as a successful accountant and tax expert. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The struggle has been juggling full-time job, side business, and family life. But the reward has been seeing the appreciation my clients have after I help with their financial issue that led them coming to me initially.
