Meet Anastasia Taylor of Alliance Child & Family Solutions in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasia Taylor.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Anastasia. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Alliance Child & Family Solutions or “ACFS Texas” started out of a desire to provide quality care with flexible options for staff. Over the last nearly 5 years of being in business, we have expanded from providing only home-based services to now having offices in Aledo, Arlington, Burleson, Fort Worth, Keller, Mansfield, and the 4 Family Resource Centers of Fort Worth ISD. Our expansion has only been possible because of the excellence and passion of our staff in serving even more members of our community.

Has it been a smooth road?
When attending a seminar for entrepreneurs, one of the speakers gave the advice “do not let your passion interfere with your business.” The greatest struggle as a business has been to make decisions to be good stewards of our resources and to uphold the policies of the payors we are contracted with. Because our passion is to help others overcome the most difficult of circumstances, having to limit these services due to insurance limitations goes against our natural inclination to give of our time and knowledge unconditionally.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Alliance Child & Family Solutions or “ACFS Texas” is a social services agency based in North Texas that specializes in outpatient mental health counseling. Our motto is “comprehensive services, compassionate solutions,” which we define as our mission to service all ages at multiple locations with a variety of therapists, techniques, and skills.

Our purpose as an agency is to provide life-changing services. We truly believe we are the best of the best in outpatient counseling because we care, we’re great at what we do, and we take care of our people, both employees and clients. It is these tenants and our core values of demonstrating integrity, being solution-focused, embodying compassion, exhibiting commitment, and working with accountability that set us apart from others. I am most proud of the fact that our experienced therapists and robust services are able to service all ages and nearly all issues, especially revolving around trauma.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Every city is a good place for mental health services, especially for practitioners who are willing to do what they can to accept nearly all insurances in order to provide services to even more members of the community. To those starting out similar businesses, I would recommend being a strong member of the community to know the demographics and needs of those who they are serving, while carefully balancing the need for strong ethics and boundaries. Our city could improve at offering discounts even to for-profit businesses like ours that exist to make a positive impact in the community doing much needed services, especially for an at-risk demographic.
