Meet Andrew Snow of Track15 in Oak Cliff

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Snow.

Andrew, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have nearly 20 years of experience in fundraising. I cut my teeth at SMU at the beginning of their campaign to raise $1B. I then went on to be the Chief Development Officer at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. The juxtaposition of an established fundraising operation vs. that of a younger nonprofit inspired the creation of this company, Track15, that applies fundraising services for clients.

The company became a reality when my friend Chris, a longtime entrepreneur, heard the idea. Chris has a heart of gold and desire to help anyone in need and knew this kind of company would give him the chance to multiply the help he could give.

We soon had a few clients and now, two years in, we have an amazing team and work for incredible organizations.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We mastered the art of building the plane in the air. Maybe we didn’t master it… but it sure happened. While we’ve never had trouble articulating the need we fill, we spent the better part of our first year trying to operationalize the delivery of our services.

Our clients, as nonprofits, deserve maximum value from anyone they hire from day one. The challenges really center around making sure the clients know exactly what they’re getting and how it helps them!

Please tell us about Track15.
We provide fundraising services for nonprofits. Our ideal clients are Executive Directors and Development Directors who wear a thousand hats, 999 of which have to do with maintaining the mission, and are overwhelmed by the development activity that keeps getting shoved to the back burner.

We do everything from major donor relations, to creative direct-response campaigns, to event planning – anything that creates, advances, and stewards relationships with supporters.

We hope the name Track15 conjures thoughts of a journey and accompanying mixtape. We love bringing creative ideas that are built around the best practices of fundraising. Our goal is to instill trust and excitement with every interaction.

This is at least how we want to be known, and certainly what sets us apart.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
There was a lot of fear and trepidation at the beginning. As soon as we recognized how to harness that fear, we really took off. Knowing what we know now, I would go back and tell ourselves to be courageous!
