Today we’d like to introduce you to Darien Hall.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Darien. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Fueled by my passion of helping others, after working as a retails sales rep for a cell phone company, I wanted to make a greater impact in the lives on those I interacted with aside from just providing great phone service and a new iPhone or Android phone.
I saw real estate being the platform I could use to not only continue serving clients and my community but also a way to connect and build deeper relationships with those I interacted with. This approach has allowed for great success in both personal and business life and the value I receive from helping and serving others at this level really makes a huge impact on me.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not! I was broke for many years 🙂
I have built a relationally based business and really focus on the service we provide to our clients. Of course, having the experience and knowledge is valuable but before you get their clients have to trust and believe you are the one they want to hire and as the saying goes “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” So, I really drive this home with my team and I let them know to always approach and work with our clients in in a relational way. For me, in the beginning it took quite some time to build up the momentum and contacts that would produce business.
Please tell us about Diamond D Real Estate.
We are boutique group of agents that are committed to serving our clients who value the care, the knowledge, the expertise and the experience we bring to the table. We are committed to nothing short of excellence. Our team has different segments that specialize in buyers, sellers, investors and luxury properties which I specialize in. I am known for producing results and was nick named “Diamond Darien” from a past client now good friend. The name was giving to me not only because I absolutely love diamonds but because as he put it “When it comes to negotiating deals that produce lots of pressure, I shine bright… like a Diamond.” I was inspired by that and when I had the opportunity to start my group I named it Diamond D Real Estate. What sets us apart from others is not only do we have a proven track record our clients love to tell everyone about us as most of our business comes from referrals. As a company, I am proud to lead a group of agents who support my vision and the value we bring to our community.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I played football my entire life up until college so I would have to say my fav childhood memory would be Sundays after church and sometimes while having Sunday dinner, watching Americas favorite football team The Dallas Cowboys with my Mom, Dad and little brother!
