Meet Jason Brown of Texas Muscle Activation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Brown.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jason. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Out of College, I moved from my hometown of Haven, Ks (Pop: 1100 people) to Dallas to pursue a career in personal training. I worked for some of the largest Clubs in Dallas at the time and began to lecture for the Cooper Institute for Aerobics research. That led me to certify Personal Trainers all over the world for our military and police forces. In my Late 20’s I began researching muscle testing and taking courses and classes that were centered around Biomechanics and Muscle trigger points.

I began working with muscle testing with some of my personal training clients and ended up so busy that at some point in my career, that was all I was doing full-time. I decided to leave the training industry and move my business into a Sports Chiropractic Clinic in Plano. I was there 7 years working with different chiropractors on how we could integrate muscle testing with chiropractic adjustments. Over time I learned that the body healed faster and needed less adjustments with Muscle testing and controlling inflammation.

I started my own Clinic in 2016 here in Frisco, TX working with people and athletes of all ages using the most advanced therapies for Muscle inflammation and spinal decompression therapy. We have a healing time on most injuries of 1 to 2 weeks and currently have a 98% fix rate on Bulging and herniated disc. There is no clinic like ours in North Texas, we are the only one doing this type of therapy in conjunction with treating inflammation with a specific order of therapy that the body responds to quicker for healing.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always struggles along the way when building a business and brand that no one else is doing. Most people have not heard of Muscle Activation or what it all entails. It has been a challenge to take the different therapies that are out there and pair the right ones together to work for different types of injuries and pain.

Another challenge is that insurance does not cover most of them, so its hard for many to come out of pocket. So we had to make them affordable for everyone and find ways to package our products and therapy together. At the end of the day, we are here to help people get out of pain without shots or surgery and back to life in the shortest amount of time possible

Texas Muscle Activation – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Texas Muscle Activation takes an innovative approach to pain by correcting the mechanics and compensation patterns we get into with injury. We use a combination of therapies to reduce inflammation and speed recovery by half the time it normally takes through traditional methods.

I’m proud of our innovative approach and large turnover rate of patients that we help. It sets the basis for over 80% of our new patients to come from referral. There is no other sports clinic with this approach to therapy, which sets us apart from all others.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Proudest moment of my career would be the days I opened up my own clinic to help others.
