Meet Jessica Bray of Bray Home Staging & Design in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Bray.

Jessica, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always loved interior design and dreamed of one day owning my own business. The opportunity to do this presented itself in 2016 and I have not looked back. This has been the best decision of my life. I truly believe if you love what you are doing then it is not work.

Has it been a smooth road?
Everything has not gone according to plan but every mistake has been a learning lesson. Time management is essential as well as a reliable team. Another very important thing is this job involves many opinions and you must learn to take the feedback you may receive as positive criticism and not on a personal level.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We are a home staging and interior design firm. We stage homes that are going on the market for sale. The staging we provide gives the potential buyer a feeling of a warm and welcoming beautiful home. Most people are visual and we help them see the potential of what their future home could be. We also specialize in interior design. We are most proud that we are a smaller boutique style business which gives our clients the one on one attention they deserve which sets us apart from the rest.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
The Dallas/Ft. Worth area is a great place for home staging and interior design businesses. The opportunities are really limitless. I would recommend for anyone starting out is to do your research. Make sure you can deliver the services you offer.

Talk with others in your line of work. I have yet to meet another interior designer or home stager who wasn’t willing to give me suggestions or advice.
