Meet Nguyet Le of Lee’s Cleaning and Alterations in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nguyet Le.

Nguyet, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Before I started Lee’s Cleaning and Alterations, I was working for a clothing manufacturing company in Wichita, Kansas, but the work was very difficult and the local economy was not doing well there. I decided to move to Texas to search for a better start. I found work as a contract seamstress working at home, which I did for about 10 years. Once my children became older, I decided to give sewing for a clothing manufacturer another shot. Once again, the work was arduous and low-paying, so I decided to make another switch back to my early work as a tailor. For over 23 years now, we have worked hard to build close relationships with our customers and deliver excellent quality at affordable prices. I treated my customers like they were my family, and I found that they kept coming back. We have extremely loyal customers!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a pretty smooth road. I’ve been blessed to have customers who really care for us, so we have not had to handle many cases of troublesome customers, perhaps a few cases a year. I’ve also had honest and hard-working employees who really help my business to run smoothly. We want to repay our customers’ kindness with great service and good work.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Lee’s Cleaning and Alterations – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am most proud of the fact that, for any alteration job, our customers can think, “Lee can do it.” They can buy or find any piece of clothing that needs alteration and rest assured that we can get it done for them, no matter the difficulty or complexity of the job. It gives our customer the confidence to make buying decisions with the knowledge that we will take care of them, and that they will be happy with the results.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I do not have any big changes planned. I am quite happy with how well my store is doing and want to focus on our customers to make sure that we maintain the level of excellence that they have come to expect.
