Today we’d like to introduce you to Oliver Michael Fitzpatrick.
Thanks for sharing your story with us, Oliver Michael. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
My love for fashion began at an early age. My mother told me that I started dressing myself at the age of 4. Early I had a gift of putting colors, fabrics, and patterns together. I love to put together a very nice outfit or start a new fashion trend.
I began my journey by selling custom bowties wholesale. After doing this for a while, I began to get more request for custom colors and patterns. With my factory being overseas it caused an issue for customers who could not wait to 3-4 weeks. To resolve the issue, I enrolled in Arkansas Fashion School with Jamileh Kamran. There I learned how to sew, never sewing a day in my life, I had to learn from scratch. I learned how to sew then I watched youtube videos on how to sew a bowtie. I then practiced until I felt confident about the product. During this process of learning how to sew, I also researched manufacturing companies for bespoke suits and other garments. I found a few factories and began designing custom bespoke suits for men, women, and kids.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. There are always ups and downs when it comes to entrepreneurship. One of my early struggles was finding a bowtie factory that would work with a small business, not purchasing thousands of bowties at a time. The next struggle was finding a suit manufacturing company that did not have a minimum quantity purchase and a factory that I liked their workmanship. I also needed a factory that I could communicate with in English, and that could make what I designed. Through trial and error, I found the best factories for me. Another struggle that I still face from time to time is a customer feeling like they can negotiate prices or undervalue your business because of its a small business.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Ndeed Regime – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Ndeed Regime is a bespoke suit company, styling and wedding groom services, and custom handmade bowties.
I design and sew custom handmade bowties. I design custom bespoke suits etc. I also style men and women and provide a styling service for wedding grooms.
I specialize in custom handmade bowties and bespoke suits.
I would say the most thing that I am proud of is sense starting Ndeed Regime in 2013 I have gone from purchasing bowties wholesale to sewing my own bowties and designing bespoke suits with my logo on the inside.
What sets me apart from other companies is the designing experience, the fabric choices, and the quality of the product. During the design process, the customer has a lot of input in the entire development of the suit or garment we are designing. I also can guarantee that while wearing a Ndeed Regime product, you will get attention wanted or unwanted. Ndeed Regime makes a statement.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Plan for the future is to continue to grow the company by increasing the direction of marketing for Ndeed Regime. The company also has a big collaboration with Carter, the Jewelry Professional that will be able to provide a custom jewelry service to clients. There are also collaborations with wedding planners in the future. Big changes to come will be the way customers can purchase bespoke suits online.
