Meet Phil Romano of The Network Bar in Trinity Groves

Today we’d like to introduce you to Phil Romano.

Phil, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
The Network Bar in Trinity Groves will be opening soon. It’s an exclusive members-only community created for professionals to network and socialize, for business and pleasure. It’s where business minds come to build genuine relationships, share ideas, swap stories and use their collective wisdom to make a difference in their lives and those within the community. The Network Bar App reimagines networking as we know it. You can search for members that meet certain criteria and therefore network in the most efficient way possible. Members can sort through profiles of every member at the bar, what they do, their skills, and everything needed to spark up a conversation and network effectively. You will easily break the ice, without breaking a sweat. Every detail of the brain-boosting environment in The Network Bar appeals to all senses, and has been planned out with the sole purpose of enhancing member productivity. We offer delicious Brain Food that has been proven to boost energy and improve memory, a custom-blended scent in the air that relaxes and clears the mind, and dopamine-boosting music that increases focus and efficiency. Members have access to a comprehensive program of intimate fire-side chats, workshops and speaker series delivered by some of the most accomplished business leaders in the city. Experienced professionals with varied skill-sets act as mentors giving career advice, opening doors, making introductions and sharing wisdom. In addition, we will also host a plethora of one-of-a-kind social events covering trending topics, art, culture and more.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every new concept launch has bumps in the road; that’s what makes the journey more interesting. We want to help young people learn how to network the old-fashioned way – face-to-face. We wanted to build a place where people get a high ROR (Return on Relationships) that can potentially result in finding quality business partners or employees. As we dove deeper into this mission, aspects such as the Brain Food, Dopamine-Boosting Music and mind-clearing custom blended scent were developed.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Network Bar – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
This concept was developed by Stuart Fitts and Phil Romano, the creator of some of the most successful national chains.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We have plans for international expansion of the Network Bar; we’re in discussions with a high-end hotel brand about including Network Bars in their locations globally.
