Meet Shana Acquisto of Acquisto Real Estate in Frisco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shana Acquisto.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Shana. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Along with my husband Mike, we started Acquisto Real Estate in 2001. Acquisto Real Estate is a boutique style brokerage dedicated to servicing the client first and foremost through superior processes and cutting-edge technology. As a company, we employ and continually update innovative business practices and systems while providing the uppermost level of professionalism in working with clients, colleagues, and service providers.

We’ve kept our business small and have never made a storefront for our business other than our home. Our home is our office, and it is open to our Acquisto Real Estate Family and clients to gather in. We feel this gives a more personalized approach to real estate and allows us to truly focus on the client. My passion is selling real estate and helping others, and my primary goal for each client that I work with is for them to feel that they are the ONLY client and receive 100% attention. The customer experience is what we rally around as my goal is to create not only a lifetime client but also a lifetime friendship.

Has it been a smooth road?
In the beginning, it was just my husband Mike and myself, and we have been very fortunate to get where we are today. We have been through many economic climates since starting our small business. The nation was significantly affected by the recession, thankfully Texas wasn’t hit as hard as other parts of the country, but we still saw effects from it within our business. When we began Acquisto Real Estate, the vast majority of real estate was paper-based, this has changed so much in the 17 years that we have been in business as things have gone almost entirely digital. Some years back, we realized that technology was the future of real estate, so we created unique systems to make our transaction management and client experience to be above and beyond what others offer in the industry. We feel that we have positioned our brokerage to be at the forefront of technology today.

The areas we serve are continually evolving, so we always try to stay one step ahead and be able to provide the best possible knowledge and expertise to help our clients. Our local market tends to be fast paced so we always make sure that our listings go to market fully prepared and our buyer clientele realizes that good deals can go quickly.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Acquisto Real Estate – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The reputation of Acquisto Real Estate is built on service and backed by the resources of a family-owned, community-focused business. We specialize in residential properties within Collin County, including Luxury Properties and International Relocations.

I am proud of so many things, but I am most proud of the core values that we abide by as a brokerage, and that is to “Find the best possible property for the client, under the best possible terms given our current market conditions, at the best time possible for the client and their family.”

Mike and I have a passion and love for traveling, and we feel that it enables us to understand different cultures in a way to better assist buyers and sellers from all over the world within the local real estate marketplace.

My husband and I ran the business by ourselves for a long time and then we realized that we could build our business and help more buyers and sellers if we expanded our real estate family. Today we have seven full-time agents, a friendship division, and a dedicated support team. We have been extremely selective in who we choose to work with and feel that we have a very diverse group that offers an immense amount of industry knowledge all to make a client’s real estate experience as smooth as possible. Our goal is to work together as a family and treat clients like they are family.

Real estate is the most substantial investment that one will make within their lifetime, and I certainly don’t take that lightly, we strive to help clients make smart decisions whether it’s making updates to their home or when the best time to buy or sell is that meets their unique situation. I work in this industry day in and day out, a person may only purchase a home once in their lifetime, so I want to put my knowledge to work for them. I have also worked hard to create industry relationships with other brokerages, agents, vendors, and affiliates and I feel that shows how I work with my clients. In the end, seeing my clients realize their dream of homeownership is what makes my job the best in the world!

If I had to expand more on what we are known for, I would say hosting our client appreciation events and giving back to our community in addition to serving in a variety of volunteer capacities primarily associated with the real estate industry.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The people. It is growing by leaps and bounds, yet it still has the small town feel with all of the big city amenities. I also appreciate the diversification that the area offers.

Increased congestion, but I know that there are many plans in the works to help with this in the future.
