Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven Oppenheim and Greg Studenny.
While discussing the success of his business, one of Greg’s closest friends, who is a certified HVAC technician with his own HVAC company explained to Greg that since he has been in business he’s noticed that one of the most common reasons for a client’s HVAC malfunction is failing to replace the air filter every 30 days. Thus, the idea was born.
We have been friends for a little over ten years and while at the Studenny home one night, Greg approached Steven with the idea of creating a company that provides a service to homeowners, renters, landlords, and real estate professionals. This service replaces the A/C filter and cleans the return vent every 30 days. Steven was immediately on board.
After exhaustive market research, Greg and Steven concluded that there aren’t many, if any at all, companies that provide this kind of service around Dallas/Ft. Worth. What began as an idea, was born into reality on September 1, 2019. Fresh Air Matters provides peace of mind to your entire family by arriving at your home on the same day, at the same time, every 30 days to replace the A/C filter and clean the return vent. Our social media platforms and website allow for scheduling, as well as provide information, images, and stories about the company and our clients. Never replace your A/C filter or clean your return vent again. We do it for you!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The business model for Fresh Air Matters provides success with very low overhead, pressure, or stress. This allows us to really focus on our current clients needs with the ability to take things slow. Our client base has grown 100% organically since our initial launch and the struggles of a normal business have not applied to what we are currently doing.
Tell us about your company. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of as a company? What sets you apart from others?
One of the most common reasons for HVAC malfunction is failing to replace the A/C filter and cleaning the return vent every 30 days. Fresh Air Matters creates peace of mind for homeowners, renters, landlords, and real estate professionals by arriving at their home on the same day, at the same time, every 30 days to replace the A/C filter and clean the return vent. Doing this not only helps to maintain the functionality of the HVAC unit, but it also helps drastically reduce the collection of airborne allergens such as dust, dirt, pollen, pet dander, mold, and bacteria which could potentially circulate through their home.
We are most proud of the 100% organic growth our company has been able to achieve and the relationships established with each client. Each client has been obtained through social media and online marketing through various ads and social media posts. We are set apart from other HVAC companies simply based on the services we offer and the attention we are able to give each individual client to assure their needs are met.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our plans for the future include beginning production on a commercial set to begin in January 2020, as well as a web-series that provides cross promotional partnerships, business growth, and brand recognition with local real estate professionals set to begin recording at the same time. We couldn’t be more proud of the foundation we have established, the relationships developed, and the slow yet steady growth of Fresh Air Matters.
