Meet Tiffany Smith-Paul of 29th And Vibe in Garland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Smith-Paul.

Tiffany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
For years I have always loved the art of writing. It was a way for me to express myself and escape the dramas and uncertainties of life. In 2009, when I graduated from college, I was faced with many peaks and valley’s that college did not prepare me for. All before the age of 30 I was laid off and fired from a total of four jobs, moved back in with my parents, became a recipient of food stamps and the negative balance in my bank account was a continuous reminder of my apparent “failures”. The term “broke and broken” was an understatement!

During this time, books and writing became my go-to. It allowed me to collect the broken pieces,of my life, and slowly put them back together. Fast forward to today, I am married, had a daughter and I am now building a brand with my blog. My blog, 29th And Vibe, is a collection of my life experiences and revelations that I hope will resonate with people who are struggling to find meaning in their own lives. I am grateful that I could potentially use my gift of writing and storytelling to make an impact in the world.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all! Along with being laid off and fired from a total of four jobs, recipient of food stamps and having to move back in with my parents in my late 20s, I was faced with several mental challenges. I can remember battling depression and anxiety for almost a year. During this time, I lost a sense of who I was and struggled to find meaning and direction in my life.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I created a blog called 29th And Vibe. It is a blog that is centered around expanding people’s level of consciousness and creating a life with purposeful intention. Some of the topics I discuss include; finding your purpose, living in the present moment, redefining the word failure and spiritual self-care. My blog is a relatively new blog but one thing that my readers know me for is helping people to reveal the true power within themselves instead of searching for it externally.

One of the biggest things I am most proud of, about the blog, is the light that it is bringing to people’s everyday lives. I mentioned that my blog is still relatively new but there are people who write and tell me how this blog has changed their perspective about their own life and experiences. The root of my blog is spiritual enlightenment and evolution. So I believe one of the things that set me apart from others is my ability to tell a story and pose questions to the reader. One thing you will never see me do is “lecture” to my audience. But more so pose the question and allow them to find the answer within themselves.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I believe the biggest quality that is most important to my success is my authenticity. Continuing to speak my truth and simply be myself is not only important to my success by it is a necessity.
