Meet Alexia P. Hammonds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexia P. Hammonds.

Hi Alexia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have over 15 years of experience as a classically trained Pilates and yoga instructor that taught around the world. I worked as a fashion and beauty editor and doing segments for Fox 4 in Dallas, TX. I brought my love of fine fragrance, fitness, functional on the go products, and all things sexy into creating Eat. Sweat. Undress. I wanted a central place for all things I love to share with women who are on the go! I wanted to provide products that enhance their lifestyle.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not! It’s important for me to note that we developed all of our products with the exception of two. I didn’t want to simply buy items from wholesalers and slap our logo on it. Developing our supplements and perfumed Hair Mist was the most difficult, especially once Covid lockdowns began. The biggest struggle was being patient with the changing timelines with our lab in Grasse, France along with working on the notes and formulation for our perfumed Hair Mist.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the Founder and CEO of Eat. Sweat. Undress. It is my full-time job. I’m proud to say that I’m the first black woman to create fragrance in Grasse, France. What sets me apart? Maybe that’s something for others to observe and say from my work and contributions. I will say that my drive and passion to not only have a goal, a vision/dream but to execute to the fullest is something I’m known for. If given the ball, I’m going to run it.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love Dallas so much that I named one of my five perfumed Hair Mist scents after the city. Dallas has a fabulous food scene, it’s progressive, and it fills my heart. I’m from Atlanta, GA so I refer to myself as a lone star peach.
