So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My name is Keokuk Domingo, owner of “Get Organized by Key, LLC.” I’m a New Orleans Native that reside in Celina, Texas. I moved to Dallas, nearly 14 years ago to work in a supervisory position with the University of Phoenix.
I am a homeschool mother, a leader in my church, business owner and a Minority owned business. I am the event chair for University of Phoenix, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. I received my undergraduate degree from a Xavier University in New Orleans.
Later, attended the University of Phoenix for my MBA (Masters in Organizational Leadership). Beginning in January, I will be an instructor teaching Professional Organizing to busy professionals and real estate agents.
Who am I?I am a woman of Faith, Passion, Love, and Fun. My resilient desire to help all families to decrease their STRESS, DECLUTTER their lives and become ORGANIZED is my passion.
This passion started as a child, my mom forcing us to clean, organized and declutter as children prior to playing with friend. As children, we had to change our clothing according to color, season, short sleeve and long sleeve. I believed this was torture for me, but my pain is now my passion. I am not giving the opportunity to Design, Organize, Clean, Stage anyone’s home or life without thinking twice. My mom have left an imprint on my destiny and I’m forever grateful to her for this passion.
My mom, Fabiola O. Terry was my biggest inspiration and motivator who pushed me into my line of work. Its definitely through her guidance, instructed direction and my chores that lead me onto this path. I wasn’t allowed to play until everything was completed to her liking. So, I remember thinking; when I’m an adult, I’ll have a maid. i would always take my time, with precision and detail, but when I was completed it was clean and organized like a masterpiece and it brought me satisfaction.
This was the beginning of “Get Organized by Key, LLC” and I didn’t know it. I remember working for the University of Phoenix, a couple years back and I would tell my staff and co-workers about this business that I was going to start. They would encourage and motivate me through pep talks, and I appreciate each and every one of them for believing in my dream.
I would reaffirm with myself every day (Keokuk, you are successful. Keokuk you are successful. Keokuk you shall become all that God designed you to be. Keokuk you are the head and not the tail, you are amazing, beautiful, authentic and you will cause the universe to line up with your desire. I held on through positions, a part-time job and decided to move out full time in 2015. Consistency and keeping the confidence in those moments where there are no clientele and money coming through. But, that scared little girl who grew up hating chores, who will now leave a legacy, a business that has credibility and changes the lives of people daily through organizing, staging and cleaning.
My belief to step out opened the business. My prayer activated my business. My confession keep the business aligned with what God said the business is daily and my decision to be lead with consistent actions will sustain the business.

I love Dallas, it’s definitely home for me now. I love the weather, we may get five seasons in one day. I love that we have multiple ways to get anywhere. And I love the skyline view at night when I’m riding home, it’s Magnificent how this is truly gone. I get to meet and mingle with a diverse community each and everyday. Whatever you put into your City, it will yield its return.
