Today we’d like to introduce you to Candice Taylor.
With a career that has touched all genres of the arts, Candice is a connoisseur of all things exceptional. Formally trained in dance, this former fashion model/actress and bon vivant transferred all of her requisite skills to the fast-paced world of Public Relations. Starting at Zontis PR with Stacey Dolezal, Candice honed her innate skill of branding as well as mastered the art of client relations. When she started her own arts and entertainment PR firm, she did not surprise anyone with its eponymous title, Taylor Made PR Group. Her astute to curate and manage artists for art galleries became quickly sought after. On Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday in 2000, she opened her namesake gallery. She managed talented and successful artists such as Shane Pennington, Frankie Garcia, Catherine Juna, Michael Moore, Sage Gallon, Anais Nussbaumer Solange Mariel, Lisa Streidl, Caroline Ometz, Mark Crow, Ben Albury, Saundra Schwarzkopf, Marta Gibbs Janice Freeman, Samuel Uto, Andrew Scott just to name a few.
Most recently, she has ventured into the music industry as an agent for talent relations helping musicians craft a blueprint to further their brand. Rahzel Brown of the Roots, Rahzel Brown Jr., Philip Lassiter of NPG Horns, Sky Heavens of Eminem, Chantae Vetrise, King Klio, BB Thomaz of Germany the Voice, SieSie Benhoff are just a few of her clients. SHe has produced live listening sets for Standard East Penthouse NY for the summer set Annie O music series “sold out” shows! The lineup included Rahzel M. Brown, SkyHeavens, BBThomazz, Sly5thAve of NPG Horns as well as guest Grammy Award-winning SnarkyPuppy.
She also produced set-up and design for Karen Dupiche and Yancey Edwards for the 40th Birthday and reality show reveal party for at Bowery Hotel New York “Rollin with Whoopi” featuring Whoopi Goldberg and her daughter, Alex Martin.
Candice is the true embodiment of a renaissance woman always pushing the envelope asking what’s next. Her ultimate goal is to redefine how consumers appreciate and purchase art. As a collector and dealer educator, she firmly believes that art should appreciate in value. In fact, her motto is: “If it does not appreciate in value I probably am not dealing it!” Moving forward, she would like to develop a public non-profit space where noted artists can give back to their communities by serving as teachers, mentors, and influencers across all genres of dance, music, art, theatre as well as creative and visual writing and production. Working with her team, she also plans to open up a contemporary fine art gallery where her the breadth and depth of her limitless visions can become actualized.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Ha, what a question. Nothing ever worth is gained easily! First of all, being a woman a Black 👩🏿 in the Arts and PR, in the early ’90s in Dallas, TX was rare, so had to break through some doors. Once in, I created a lane for my artist performers and artisans. It has been a wild interesting ride but I am just as driven as the day I started. Only now, I sit back and wait for the right client rather than grabbing all.

TaylorFineArt is known for museum quality fine art 🖼 and over the TOP exhibitions with an elite international mix following. Candice is known for being a Dancer, Model, Producer, Handler, Curator and Artist most of all a global citizen honoring the people and their gifts.

I don’t believe in luck. I believe in hard work and strategy! You create your model and follow it to a T! Consistency never fails!
