Today we’d like to introduce you to Ditto Tamer.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Fasten your scuba diving weight belt because we are about to go deep fairly quickly. “I will praise you, God, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:14. This particular Bible verse is extra special to me because despite a lot of rejection, ignorance and never fitting in, I know who I belong to and where I’m going.
A 15-year old girl got pregnant almost 52 years ago and she wanted to kill her baby because “it” didn’t suit her lifestyle. Because it was illegal to abort babies at the time, I was sent to the state of California where I was placed in a foster home until I was adopted. Through my early years, I didn’t have much of a dad because he abused my mom, cerebral palsy brother and I. The biggest hurt was that my dad told me I’d never amount to anything.
God had a bigger plan. At 16 years old I received Christ into my heart and asked Him to be Lord of my life. Since His acceptance and love for me, I’ve never been the same. I’m able to get through any hardship and have eternal hope, how great is that? Even when I was ignorant by marrying a pastor at an early age and getting a quick divorce, even that was the spring board to discovering Gods best and finally gaining confidence in Him. I’ve always asked a lot of questions. I do not take facts and truth lightly. I want to dissect it, ingest it and then act on it consistently. God’s Word (the Bible) comes to life every time I study it. Because of all of my screw ups I have wanted to get healthy financially, spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and psychologically.
I call them the “ally’s”. I’ve had a blast using my management and marketing degrees from Grand Canyon University because I’ve been able to have some amazing successful careers over the years, but as I matured, I realized most people got lazier or apathetic. Not me! I can’t sit still. This brings me to my latest adventure. I’m usually never scared of much but writing a book is one of them. About 8 years ago my current husband encouraged me to write a book about health because he noticed I was getting stronger and more fit as I aged. I said I’d jot down my proven researched methods of what little I do and eventually it turned into a book. I truly love hearing about the awesome changes people are having after hearing or reading my book. I have so much respect for authors because I never want to do it again. The stretching experience, however, is really eye opening once again. I am loving the coaching experiences I have been able to have with my readers and each day inspiring people to think about their health choices via my website and Instagram Marketing. I’m just an average gal who finds peace in Jesus and every day I want to please Him. I am a living testimony. Being rejected produces Gods acceptance.
