Today we’d like to introduce you to Yesenia Gallo.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
All throughout my life, I have been surrounded by music. My grandfather owned a studio in Colombia, and so I’ve always been immersed in all cultures and genres of music. Growing up in that environment, I learned to play piano and guitar.
Additionally, I developed a passion for poetry over the years which has translated well into music and artist development. I came across ETA Bolt through a friendship with one of the founders and CEO, Josh Hunt. I witnessed the momentum that Bolt was creating within the music industry in Dallas, and wanted to become more involved with their dynamic and versatile team.
Bolt resonated with me not only because of their involvement in the music industry but also because of their strong affinity for service in the Dallas community, as community outreach is an important aspect of my identity. Bolt has leveraged strong relationships within the music industry and Dallas community to create a one-stop shop for developing artists – we provide everything from artist management to marketing and PR to content creation and consulting.
We’ve noticed a strong need for resources for developing artists in Dallas and a lack of collaboration within the music scene here. We hope to bridge that gap by leveraging relationships to promote each other’s brands and continue to develop a strong sense of community and awareness in Dallas, especially as Dallas continues to grow over these next couple of years.
With Bolt, I feel that I am able to serve my purpose by helping our community through the charity work in which we pride ourselves, and also in helping up and coming artists build and accelerate their careers.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, but it has been one of immense personal and professional growth. As any entrepreneur will tell you, the entrepreneurial journey, especially in a relatively new field and within an expansive industry, can be very taxing and overwhelming.
However, we’ve built a good team dynamic which is that we approach every struggle as an opportunity for growth – there are no downfalls or failures. We either win, or we learn. Through all the trials and tribulations, together we unite our passions and align our purpose to what we hope to accomplish.
ETA Bolt – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?

We are most proud of our strong affinity for community outreach and service within Dallas. We’ve participated in many food and clothing drives, and other charity events, to give back to the community and to continue to develop our footprint of community involvement in our team and in those with whom we collaborate.
Additionally, our debut artist, Sushii, gives us great pride. We all truly believe in his ability to make an impact in R&B and in the community. His hard work, raw talent, and dedication to his craft is inspiring. Sushii’s debut single, “Know That,” is currently available on all platforms. Be on the lookout for the music video which will be dropping soon.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is putting myself in a position in which I can help others reach their goals and helping those within my community.
