Meet Whitney Kay of Dallas Design District

Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Kay.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Whitney. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Born in raised in Cincinnati, and now living Dallas. It is my belief that many of the positive values I learned growing up have influenced the decisions I’ve made in my life. Like many, I’ve had my share of trials, tribulations, and setbacks.

I have always been one to accept my failures and use them to fuel my drive. You will always hear me say, “lick a finger, turn a page.” It is my way of mentally shifting a temporary failure and preparing myself to reset my mindset to get right back up and go at it again.

Life in turn has blessed me with the opportunity to become a multi-preneur, investor, public speaker, designer, and network marketing leader. Founder and Owner of Bella Vi, LLC, Kay Boutique, Raising Arrows Apparel, and more, I have positioned myself in a variety of industries. Bella Vi is a marketing company specializing in marketing, design, and print promotional materials. Kay Boutique is an online women’s boutique and Raising Arrows is an inspirational lifestyle brand apparel. I spend every day working with people who have the desire to go into business for themselves. I provide coaching and guidance when it comes to entrepreneurship, business development, network marketing, design, and personal growth.

I have dedicated years to working with individuals, professionals, small businesses, and large corporations. Together, expose their goals and dreams, strengthen their mindset, and equip them with the tools to achieve their success.

Since developing a strong background in leadership, marketing, business management, network marketing, design, and coaching, I have the ability to magnify your skills and prepare you for personal and professional success!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Definitely not! I have failed more times than I can count. It is those failures, however, that have lead me to where I am today.

I have been a business owner for 5 years and a in the network marketing industry for 9 years. Both have their challenges and differences. Personal development and continuing to surround myself with top leaders in similar industries has been the determining factor and shift in my success and mindset.

One of the largest challenges I faced was my transition here to Dallas. Picking up everything and moving from Cincinnati, OH across the country to Dallas, TX was a huge transition. I had no established clientele, no knowledge of the city or it’s surrounding areas. It was a total, “wing it” moment. It was the opportunity for me to spread my wings and see if I was going to fly.

As soon as I settled in Dallas, I put my head down and got to work. I got up and got out. Meeting people and networking with the agenda to make friends and not so much a “sale” has enabled me to spread awareness of myself and my brands fairly quickly.

I am continuously developing as a business woman and an individual every single day. I do not believe there will ever be a point in time where I am not looking to expand my knowledge, skills, and connections. All of these have been a huge asset to the expansion of my brands and businesses.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Whitney Kay – what should we know?
I am so blessed to have my hands in a variety of industries. I am the face behind each of my brands and businesses, so it is crucial that I am present and active as much as possible.

It is my mission is to ignite passion and magnify the success of 100 entrepreneurs in 2017. To Inspire. To Motivate. To Uplift. To Encourage and empower YOU to live a life pursuing “GREATNESS” instead of living “Average.” I will show you that education does not stop with graduation and to pursue a life of significance. A legacy of admiration and impact.

Bella Vi, is a diverse team of designer’s and creative minds. We develop strategies, create concepts and implement solutions across different platforms.

Bella Vi takes each vision, idea, concept, and we provide you with creative tools that fit your personality and define your goal, ultimately reaching its full success.

Kay Boutique is an online women’s boutique providing those female #BOSSBABES with a unique shopping experience featuring LIFESTYLE BRAND & CUSTOM APPAREL. We want to inspire you to explore new heights with your mindset, lifestyle, and success. This is what our flagship brand RAISING ARROWS represents.

My other ventures and partnerships are avenues that allow me to expand my knowledge and expertise in providing individuals with trust and a clear direction, whatever that may be.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
First and foremost, I have to give all the glory to God. During moments of doubt, defeat, and failure, it is him who has led me to a clear mind and path to move forward. Next, my son. He is the driving force behind everything I do. He is my WHY and the reason I have worked so hard to create opportunities for him and his future. Lastly, my family, friends, and loved ones. Without their support and guidance, I do not think I could be where I am today.
