Today we’d like to introduce you to Ricardo Mendiola.
Ricardo, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I grew up in Ennis, TX with five siblings. My parents are from Mexico so did not educate us about credit or finances. At the age of 26 in 2004, I wanted to purchase a home and got denied because of my credit scores. At that time, I was working in Collections and thought from my expertise paying off my collections would be the best approach. After paying off one collection, I noticed that my scores did not increase. Seeing this, I decided to hire a professional Credit Repair company. Six months later, my scores increased from the mid 500’s to the mid 600’s. I was able to purchase my first home in September of 2005. Right after I purchased my home, I changed careers and went to work for the Credit Repair company that helped me with my credit scores. After working with them for one year, I opened up MSI Credit Solutions and have now been in business for 12+ years.

-We enroll 250+ clients a month and generate over 4 million dollars in yearly revenue.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, not smooth all along the way. Just like anything else in life you will have your obstacles. Some of our obstacles have been:
-Hiring and recruiting.
-Having to sue former employees.
-Retention of your staff.

We are a Credit Restoration company. Our goal is to increase our client’s credit scores as highest possible by attempting to remove the negative items that appear on their credit report.
One of the things I am most proud of is our reputation. If you look us up, we have over 700 5 star reviews on FB, over 50 A+ reviews on Angie’s List, over 200 5 star reviews on Google. If you do the right thing over and over, no matter what, your reputation will take care of itself.
