Meet Andrea Travillian of Aspirify in Frisco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Travillian.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Andrea. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My background is varied. I am trained in finance it a BBA from the University of Iowa and my MBA from Creighton University. I worked in finance in just about every area. Finally deciding that corporate America was not for me, I started an Event Planning Business. I know this seems like a radical change, but I paid for college by working in hospitality and had many varying jobs there! After my son was born, I could no longer sustain the hours. Having eight brides and a toddler did not go together. So I fell back on my finance training and started doing bookkeeping for some of my wedding vendors. This business transformed into Wealth coaching for business owners. I assisted them in determining how much they would need for retirement and then planning how they were going to accomplish that. But before we ever tackled their numbers, I had them do a life plan and we dug into limiting beliefs.

While this was occurring on the personal side, years of ignoring myself and putting others first was taking its toll on me – both emotionally and physically. I was no longer excited about my life. I had worked towards everything I thought I wanted in my 20’s and realized they were not making me happy.

So I began a deep dive in learning more about me. What motivated me, what drove me to put others first and more! This ended up with me learning and exploring not only how to go into self-discovery but also how to heal from limiting beliefs and change how I showed up in the world.

After a few tough years of improving myself, that also included a divorce and closing my business, I came up with a process to help others that were looking for more joy and excitement for their lives. So I started a new business around this!

This self-discovery process is a healing journey, which helps women find clarity about themselves and their lives.

I can say that today I am happier and more myself than I have ever been. And it just keeps getting better!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My journey has not been smooth at all! I faced many challenges along the way. A few included health issues, including a very bad childbirth experience and postpartum depression., a failed marriage, struggling to figure out how to run a business and a household (even when I had a newborn). Dealing with family members that had addictions and mental illness. Closing two businesses.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am a self-rediscovery coach helping women find themselves and start new chapters in their lives. Through my three-step coaching method, I assist women to discover, heal and thrive, so they can stop putting their happiness on hold and reclaim excitement for their future.

I am very proud that I can help women to realize they are not alone in any of this. Many of us go through these feelings and it helps to know that others have been there and are there. I get to help them find their voice in the world and become the best version of themselves they can be. Allowing them to transform their lives and find joy.

One of the biggest differences is that I have a process. I teach women how to move through each step so that they can continue to stay in touch with who they are the rest of their lives!

What were you like growing up?
I am a Type-A who has always wanted to take on too much! There is just so much exciting that I want to do. According to my dad, I started making to-do lists at a very young age!

I did everything from student government, to swimming, to planning school dances and even working outside of school. In college, it was more of the same. Job, positions in my sorority and working on a Festival that the University of Iowa put on.

I have learned to say no, and don’t have every minute scheduled!

I am a lifelong learner who is passionate about growing in every way that I can. I started taking workshops and attending seminars in college – always trying to learn more and making myself better.

I’m good at planning, organizing and analyzing. According to my dad, I started making to-do lists at a very young age!
