Today we’d like to introduce you to Brylee Deice.
Brylee, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I have always enjoyed taking pictures, so a few years ago I asked for a camera for Christmas ever since I received my camera my friends and I love to dress up and find new places to shoot. I also recently started taking pictures for my church at our youth services. I’m still in high school right now, so I take photos as a hobby, but I am hoping I can eventually turn it into a career!
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do? Why? And what do you hope others will take away from your work?
My pictures began as something for my friends and me to do, we enjoy finding locations and going to new places to take pictures. The more I take pictures, the more I learn how to edit them and teach myself how to improve my photos. I wanted to share my pictures with my friends, but not on my personal page, so I decided to make a page just for my photoshoot and church photos. The goal of my page is to share my pictures, but my main hope for it is to glorify God and share my faith with people that come across my page and with the people I take pictures for!
Do current events, local or global, affect your work and what you are focused on?
I love learning more about the technical things and editing, but my favorite thing about taking pictures is getting to hang out with them while taking their photos!
