Meet Michelle Thrall of The Thrall Group in Plano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Thrall.

Michelle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
How I got to where I am today….? Oh dear, a LOT of caffeine, under eye concealer, and a TON of Jesus.
Interesting enough, my career started in the automotive industry. Never did I think my path would include owning a consulting company. I started my journey at the well known, prestigious dealer group, Park Place in 2012. This is where I developed my love (really obsession) for the Lexus Brand. After becoming a Master Certified and earning the Dealership Support award on two separate occasions, I discovered my internal fire. During my three and a half years at the dealership, I was also on a voyage of being a single Mom. That internal fire I mentioned, was no doubt instilled by my heavenly father, he knew I needed to get out of bed after a sleepless night for that paycheck, for my son, and of course to better my future. After my time with Park Place, I once again took that internal fire, made a leap and started a fitness company to chase my passion for health and wellness. During this time is when I met my now Husband. Phew, the single Mom voyage had ended! All joking aside, I loved every second of being a personal trainer and nutritionist, until one day I got a phone call.

On the other end of that phone was an HR representative for the Toyota Headquarters which at that time, was just being built in Plano, Texas. This person was from the Lexus division and asked if I would be interested in a position. OH, MY HEAVENS. I will never forget hanging up that phone and literally doing cartwheels in my apartment. After an extensive 4-month hiring process, I was in. I know what you’re thinking… WHY in the world would you walk away from that? Well, folks, corporate America simply isn’t for everyone, nothing against it in the slightest, but after my first year, it felt as if my internal fire was extinguished. I stayed on for another year and became a Territory Manager working with the Southern Area region. With my extensive experience with the (best) luxury automotive brand, I noticed I expected the absolute best everywhere I went, well obviously my expectations were high, but that is where The Thrall Group was born. My husband and I put our heads together and decided we were going to give the public what they deserve when it comes to their residential and commercial properties. With his experience in the construction industry, where he has developed many contacts, and my desire for the best, we came up with the idea to offer a one-stop or one call solution for all property needs. From real estate or insurance agents, general contractors, mortgage lenders, to credit repair, we have the people. We have developed a service that is local, organic, honest, and most importantly, faith-based.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
One of my favorite quotes, “A smooth sea, never made a skilled sailor.” I wouldn’t deem my road at smooth, but I also wouldn’t trade the struggles for anything. My biggest struggle has been trusting during the hardest of times. Also, finding and making solid, truthful business relationships.

Please tell us about The Thrall Group.
The Thrall Group specializes in finding reputable sources in all areas that pertain to property. We like to think of ourselves as a local, organic, and honest Home Advisor. We are known for “doing the dirty work.” No one wants to spend their free time finding five different people to complete a project for their property, We do it for you. We are most proud of knowing that we are truly eliminating the “stigma” that our vendors may have. Such as a general contractor, you have heard the horror stories, we don’t do business with individuals with no integrity, our name is on the line. We set ourselves apart by providing a service that no one else does.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Get out of the comfort zone, excuses will always be there, opportunity won’t.
