Magickal Lady Duchess, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m a Proud Practitioner and I am a Proud Bruja. I love the path it saved my life. So, I work to help guide others. I teach the Craft and I love to HELP HEAL and love. I am an illuminated incantation, a crystalline invocation, a lovingly-crafted celebration of the world’s most magical icon which is energy.

My Mother was a Practitioner that raised me and taught me this craft, I am honored for the gift of reading oracles and tarot readings. I have healed the hearts of many and also mended marriages as well as other things, I love Hoodoo and Voodoo as a way of life.

Being different, I learned very early on to appreciate all aspects of life.

Has it been a smooth road?
Being different and following your path was hard because naturally, we want to confirm, to what we know and what is socially acceptable. I have had many people that I thought would be in my life forever not to be. It’s a lonely path and one must learn to embrace all that you encounter to learn and form families with no blood relations.

Most people think I worship the devil which I do not, I believe in a Supreme Divine Energy that made all living things. But people can’t seem to get past social norms. It can be a hard life if you are not owning who you are. Everything is a vibration good bad or indifferent we get to choose. I believe in the law of attraction always. I do good, I stay positive, I believe in karma and vibrations. I give the Universe instructions to how I want my life to be.

I suggest we all deal with our past hurts and become strong and spread that light.

I am a natural healer, I use crystals stones and herbs to create harmony.
I am also a life coach and a Reiki Master.
I also teach Tarot and I have an apprenticeship for those wanting to learn witchcraft.

Do you think there are structural or other barriers impeding the emergence of more female leaders?
Competition with other workers, sadly there are enough people that need help in this world we are a fish tank and there is room enough for everyone.

I only compete with myself to be a better and stronger person than the day before.
