Sheena’s Dance Academy has been energizing and entertaining Frisco and surrounding areas for over 22 years offering the finest instruction to ages 2½ thru adults- beginner, intermediate, advanced, pre-professional, and professional levels, in classical ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical, drill team, musical theatre, modern, contemporary, and ballroom. Sheena’s Dance Academy has been voted the “Best Dance Studio” in Collin County 17 years straight, “Face of Dance Studios” by Frisco Style Magazine, and is home to Frisco’s ballet company, The Frisco Ballet, a nonprofit 501 (C) 3 classical ballet performance company. Sheena’s Dance Academy provides a dance program that is rewarding and fun for all students within an accepting learning environment for all dance students.
Ms. Sheena, along with her large, well rounded, and dependable professional teaching staff possess a true love and interest for the art of dance and the students’ lives they touch every day. They are truly outstanding role models for children, teenagers, and adults dancing at Sheena’s and throughout this wonderful community. Their dance resumes consist of degrees, lifetime instruction, and performance experience aspiring dancers dream of, while also demonstrating that anything is possible. They enjoy being creative in their teaching, spreading smiles, making dance class fun, exciting, and a positive challenge.

Sheena’s Dance Academy, Frisco’s longest existing dance studio, is celebrating 22 years of excellence in dance education for all ages and dance levels. Sheena’s Dance Academy offers the finest dance education to children, teens and adults. We specialize is in all dance forms, including classical ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and much more.
Sheena’s Dance Academy is home and official training school of The Frisco Ballet, a 501 (c) 3 organization. This company continues to perform throughout this wonderful community bringing the joy, beauty, and grace of classical ballet to those around them. The Frisco Ballet, Frisco’s ballet company. and has performed such live productions as Cinderella, The Nutcracker, Coppelia, A Holiday Extravaganza, and Giselle, to name a few.
Throughout the years, Sheena’s students have performed in charity events, fundraisers, conventions, pageants, stage, television, music concerts and videos throughout the states and abroad. In addition, students have received dance scholarships to well respected dance programs, colleges, and universities throughout the country as a result of the excellent technical training they have received. Sheena’s prestigious Competition Companies receive top honors for choreography, technique, and overall spirit. Recently, Sheena’s Competition Company returned home from a national competition as National Champions! SDA competitive teams have been awarded national titles many times since the start of their very first competition company 22 years ago.
