Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan, Bobbie, Maddie, and Brian Baldwin.
The Grove is owned by Brian and Susan Baldwin. Prior to founding The Grove, Susan worked as the Event Manager for several prominent North Dallas Country Clubs for more than a decade. Brian worked for two decades as the VP of Sales, Account Management and Customer Support for several information technology and consulting companies.
Susan and Brian oversee the operations at The Grove alongside Bobbie and Maddie, their daughters. Bobbie is The Grove’s Wedding Coordinator. Bobbie has been the Coordinator for hundreds of weddings. Maddie is The Grove’s Director of Sales and Marketing. Maddie is focused on tours, scheduling, and communications. In addition, Bobbie and Maddie both maintain The Grove’s website and are the creative force behind all of The Grove’s social media sites. The Grove’s owners and executive team collaborate with our couples, their photographers and other wedding focused vendors to share the wonderful stories and lifelong memories as our couples celebrate their wedding at The Grove!
Susan, Bobbie, and Maddie help our couples plan for and celebrate their dream wedding. Our ultimate goal is to make every wedding as unique as the couples love story. What separates The Grove is clearly our people, our mission and our gorgeous property. Our couples benefit from our focus on weddings, our significant wedding planning experience, attention to detail and personal care from the time they tour The Grove thru their grand exit at the end of their reception on wedding day.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We founded The Grove to focus exclusively on weddings. More important, we want The Grove to operate in a couple centered and focused way at all times. In other words, the way we would want to be treated as a couple looking for the perfect place to celebrate our ceremony and reception.
The Grove’s approach is the best approach for our couples. We host one wedding a day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday providing our exclusive and private use of The Grove to prepare, relax and celebrate. Our couples select the vendors that best support their dream wedding and budget. The Grove’s bottom line – working with our couples to create their wedding to be as unique as their love story.
The rest of the week is dedicated to help couples looking for a wedding venue and to support our booked couples by phone, email or onsite planning meetings. We afford our couples time for engagement and bridal shoots on property as well. We even tour our couples in private, so they can truly experience The Grove and our team.

The Grove is a unique and exceptional North Texas wedding venue focused exclusively on weddings. We have indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options. Hold your ceremony under a large oak tree in the rolling meadow or at our natural, handcrafted arbor surrounded by a 360-degree forest.
Entertain your guests at our reception building on the large open porches and extended covered patio areas designed to maximize the property’s views. Enjoy the evening with cocktails and play yard games in the meadow under the towering oak trees adorned with cafe lighting.
Our couples and their guests enjoy The Grove both inside and out. Our brides love our bridal suite as well as our whimsical treehouse, rolling meadow, and a mile-long tree canopy drive all of which provide fantastic settings for creating and capturing wedding day memories.

Our dedicated team of wedding-focused professionals provide tailored support and guidance to our couples from the time they tour through their grand exit. We are affordable, flexible and easy to work with. At all times our couples are working directly with the owners and executive management team.
