Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Castillo.
Victoria, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I believe anything you are passionate about becomes a work of art. I truly love the field of Modeling, because the thought and vision that goes into every portrait hold strong meanings. I think the best representation of beauty is being able to be comfortable in your own skin, and being yourself. This is exactly what Modeling allows me to do.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I want my images to speak for themselves and my success to be my voice. Every photo should hold a story behind it. The story I want mine to reflect is my ambition that I have for what I do and that I am unique standing out in my own way. My ideas, dreams, and what strives me is where art comes into the making.
How can artists connect with other artists?
Hmmm, this is complicated. I think being a Model, Artist, Photographer, Producer, and anyone else in the Industry field could say it’s a little challenging when it comes to social life. Mostly just because I’m my personal experience it’s hard to find someone who is ok with what you are doing, and truly supportive of what you’re doing and not just along for the ride.
Either because you’re traveling here and there, or maybe we just don’t have as much free time as one would like. To me, I have found my self in being alone and staying busy with my work. Nothing a little girls night out can’t fix.
