Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittani Cabrera.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Brittani. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my journey back in September 2018, at first I took my shot at extensions but that wasn’t really my forte so I decided to be innovative and go to lash strips. Absolutely fell in love with the process. I’ve been doing the lash strips since January 2019, so I’m still fairly new to it and I’m continuing to learn everyday. I love it!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I don’t think any business has a smooth road. Struggles include finding the right vendors, doing your research to ensure that you’re at least breaking even. Running a business doesn’t come with a handbook so it’s a constant trial and error.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Beaux Lashes story. Tell us more about the business.
I provide faux mink or silk lashes. 3D and 5D. I’m proud of my company because it is authentically me. I don’t just show you my product and sell it to my clients. I’m very hands on & I show the background stuff like cost analysis, I provide tips on how to make your lashes last. How to go about opening a business if anyone would like to travel down that avenue as well.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe I’ve had either. I don’t believe in luck. I believe in hard work and consistency.
