Sharlene, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
How did I get here? God is the primary reason for my success. Being a Christian has allowed me to truly live and not just exist in this world.
I was once just a little girl from Detroit, Michigan. Now today I have developed into a strong woman in leadership with great dreams, that I’m destined to evolve into my reality.
In 2000, I began my journey into financial services with no experience in the industry. One person’s ability to see my potential many years ago opened one of many doors to my opportunities. I’ve always been an ambitious, dedicated, dependable, and hardworking person. In the past I’ve held various roles in leadership for over 17 years for the same financial organization. This experience has equipped me with many of the skills and knowledge necessary to operate a successful business.
In addition to leadership, I’m most passionate about helping others with self-discovery and living up their highest potential. Every day I try to be a positive influence in another person’s life.
Furthermore, in approximately 2011 after much self-reflection I come to realize my passion to become an entrepreneur and founder of my own non-profit organization. Then of course I updated my 5-year plan and set out to execute on these goals.
Don Tai Cleaning Services was established in 2015 and is now successfully operating in the Frisco, Texas area. This business is dedicated to my sons Desmond Rodriguez and Marquis Rodriguez. Its name derives from their middle names (Donovan and Tai). They give me purpose and drive every day to live up to my highest potential, for them I’m determined to leave a Legacy.
Don Tai Cleaning Services is the first of several businesses I will be establishing in the area. Currently we specialize in commercial and residential cleaning services. We strive to achieve excellent customer experiences, while treating our customers like family and friends.
Today we provide commercial services for clients such as Samsung and Dude Perfect. We look forward to our continued growth and success.
Has it been a smooth road?
I believe every new opportunity comes with both immediate successes and challenges. Highlighting my wins and learning from obstacles has definitely developed me into a stronger leader business owner.

As previously stated Don Tai Cleaning Services specialize in commercial and residential cleaning services. Our main focus is to provide “Hassle free cleaning from top to bottom” for our clients. Don Tai Cleaning Services is in a lane of its own because of our motto “The customer is always right.” We live by this philosophy. In every situation, we strive to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Statistically 50% of new businesses fail after the first year of formation. Our greatest accomplishment thus far is being able to sustain in the market for a year. We are looking forward to more years of success.

Diversity, growth, and opportunities are some of the key points that attracted me to the Dallas area 3 years ago.
Fortunately, there is nothing that I dislike about the area. I’m looking forward to all the new things on the up rise.
