Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrece Morrison.
Patrece, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am the owner at Chicks and Caboodles Boutique that was founded in the living room of my home in September of 2012. A mother of four children and a wife to husband Ronnie Morrison for 18 years. I knew that I wanted to work for myself and be in control of my day and my time. I couldn’t bare not being able to call the shots! Being a slave to the corporate working world and having to request time to spend with my family. My love for jewelry was my portal to creating wealth. My passion for creativity and love for making women feel good about themselves not because of my jewelry but because the word of God said so. (Psalms 139:14). Being in business for myself was not easy! Ive had bouts with depression, financial struggles, weight gain, and business setbacks. I noticed there wasn’t a “GENUINE ” community or organization where you could connect with females who had or was experiencing similar issues. In 2017, I sought out other women entrepreneurs who shared my struggles, which led to the start of GirlBoss Lifestyle. A community/organization that promotes self success by connecting via small groups and events that will help women realize the full potential that God has given them. Our mantra is “Being a boss is not a position! It’s a lifestyle.”
GirlBoss Lifestyle promotes self-love through planned social events. that encourages woman to be the best version of themselves while networking and connecting with other women. Being a business owner helped me form the vision and mission for GirlBoss Lifestyle.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road. Some of my struggles with running a business has been having the capital to finance business endeavors. More importantly, how do you connect with your customers with product and services that truly add value to their lives. One thing I do know is being consistent has helped my business grow And stay in the game.

GirlBoss Lifestyle is a community/organization that promotes self success by providing the tools, connections, and empowerment needed to help reach and fulfill your goals. GirlBoss Lifestyle’s planned workshops, events, and small groups. Help connect you with genuine and like minded females that share the same interests. What we do is host events that promote success by providing attendees the tools and connections needed to push them to the next level. We are known for our empowerment brunches and Boss Photo Shoots that inspire, empower and connect. We are most proud of the connections and testimonies from women who have taken charge of there life and are making the necessary changes to create the life they love. What sets us apart from other communities/organizations is that we like to have fun while pushing towards success!
