Meet Allison Fullmer of Sanara Yoga and Wellness in Southlake

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Fullmer.

Allison, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Life is beautiful, but it can also be tough. So many of us suffer silently, and we don’t need to. I don’t think we are supposed to. I believe that if we can all come together and grow from a place of love and strength, we can get through anything. This is what makes it so beautiful.

From this concept, Sanara was born. Allison took her love for the physical aspect of yoga and how good it is for the body, and she combined it with the healing aspects of mindfulness, meditation, sound therapy, nutrition, and intentional living.

Today, Sanara is a home away from home. It is a community of healing love where we can come to feed our spirits, minds, and souls while achieving the benefits of physically moving our bodies. The harmony of all of these moving parts is what creates the magic of Sanara!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I think we learn the most from our ability to face challenges and embrace the pain. We find growth and perseverance when we are asked to step into our power and keep going. It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but the easy road isn’t what I am looking for. I’m looking for the road that will bring us to a place of peace, joy, and love for ourselves and others.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Sanara Yoga and Wellness – what should we know?
We specialize in therapeutic yoga for the heart, mind, and soul. When you walk in our doors, it feels like home. The energy is peaceful and calming. It smells like a spa, and the lighting and decor create a blissful environment.

We are proud to say that we have amazing teachers that are passionate and proud of what they do. This shows through in each class and the unique classes are always exactly what the student needs at that moment.

We have vinyasa, kundalini, sound therapy, pilates, ballet, yoga cardio, athletic restore, yin, and ropes.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Kenny Kolter is a big part of Sanara. He has been part of this vision from the beginning and his wisdom and love for serving our Yoga community have been influential and powerful.

Laird Fairchild and Edward Chu are the backbones of Sanara and we wouldn’t be what we are today without their support and encouragement. Their belief in our company has been unwavering.
