Today we’d like to introduce you to Aley Rose.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Aley. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my brand around the age of 17. I decided to start my own website, researching how to build one and then branching out into a YouTube channel. People like Audrey Hepburn, Coco Chanel, and YouTuber Damon Fizzy inspired me. I created Aley Rose as a means to connect with people all over the world and raise awareness for different foundations/charities while making lifestyle and adventure videos/articles. My brand consists of who I am, from going to rock shows to being a meat-free lifestyle enthusiast. I hope to educate others in terms of our spiritual potential.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing is ever a smooth road. Just like my life, things will always come up. That is why you always have to stay prepared and willing to work through things. At the end of each lesson, you will learn. One time, my website went blank and wouldn’t let me post for a while, I contacted many people to help me troubleshoot and nothing worked. Later, I solved it and it turned out to be a very simple problem. So, don’t underestimate yourself. Balance is another thing that is very important. I try my best to balance my day job with my career and college courses.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us more about it – what should we know?
Aley Rose is my business, it is still growing and not nearly where I want it to be. I specialize in fashion and lifestyle posts. I have done modeling as well. I want the message of authenticity, humanitarianism, and expression to be known as a part of my brand. I am most proud of the privilege that I have to be able to work from my computer/phone. The trust and care that my audience gives me is a blessing and something that I am thankful for every day. As a Mexican woman of color, I want to make as much positive impact in the lives of people.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The qualities that I feel have been most important to my success have been perseverance, ethic, individualism, and compassion. I always try my best to only work with an associate with other brands who have integrity and that I truly believe in.
