Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Paschall.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I graduated from an esthetic school in 2016. I tried to find myself within the business and world of esthetics but kept coming up short. My heart was never fulfilled, I just had a gut feeling it wasn’t meant to be. I had such a passion for all things beauty and skin related but I found myself more disappointed in that career choice than happy. I started my blogging journey in February 2019. It was the most nerve-racking thing I’ve ever done, but I knew I was meant to do something like this. My love for beauty, fashion, creativity, and skincare could all combine together and become a business? It seemed unreal. But I’m making it real. For the Love of Whitney is building each and every day from my complete and genuine passion for what I do. A kind of job where I can be a mom, yet find happiness in my blogging? Now, that’s living life.
Has it been a smooth road?
My struggles were being completely lost a few years ago in my career path, not feeling a complete fulfillment in what I was trying to do. Also, just putting myself out there, hearing the “no’s,” and rejection emails… it’s made me pursue even harder!! Because for every “no” I get a “yes.” And that’s what makes this worthwhile.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I run a fashion and beauty blog that really focuses on “the everyday girl.” I want people to come to my page and feel like I am just like them. Because I am! I Shop at target, buy drugstore makeup, shop on the “sale” menu item online. It’s who I am! And I relate to so many of my followers because of that. Don’t get me wrong, I love my high-end makeup, an expensive bag every now and then, and that really cute name brand dress, but in reality, I am just an average person, who has an eye for fashion and love for beauty. And I can help the “everyday woman or girl” shop for that!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the atmosphere, the places, the people. It’s very “me.”
What I like least is driving through it HAHA. 😂
