Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Dudley.
Erin, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
One of my greatest passions in life is photography. I found my passion for photography and storytelling while volunteering for OneSight. A non-profit that provides access to vision care all over the world. I had the opportunity to capture the stories of people whose lives were being changed. I then volunteered to teach children with cancer photography with the Pablove Foundation. I love capturing special moments and the personalities of my clients! I was most recently published in Macy’s for the brand images of Raeka beauty. I struggled for many years with anxiety and depression, and finding my passion has changed my life for the better!
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I am a commercial and lifestyle photographer. My inspiration is to share peoples stories and celebrate their uniqueness. I work with a lot of non-profits that I am passionate about to help raise awareness. I offer blogger and small business packages and love being their “hype girl” behind the camera! I want everyone to look at the images I take and feel empowered and good about themselves.
Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
My advice for other artists is to not give up! Go for your dreams! You will never know if you don’t try! Life is way too short to not follow your dreams and passions! Believe in yourself and don’t let someone else’s success Make you feel less than. Find encouragement in them and build community over competition.
