I was sitting in my beautiful office over-looking the canal in Irving working in a stressful position I didn’t like. I was working as a human resources professional, and on this particular day I came to terms with how unhappy I was…
I loved supporting employees, and helping people, but hated the manner in which I was doing it.
I decided that day, I no longer wanted to work for anyone. I no longer wanted to ask for my time off when my children are sick, or fight the unbearable traffic commuting to an office.
My peace, my happiness, was worth more than my beautiful office and great paycheck.
I walked away from security, and I started doing HR work independently. I quickly realized that without marketing, even if you have the best service/product in the world, no-one will know about you.
I developed a passion and love for online marketing, and started working with other businesses to build their business.
Out of my love for internet marketing, in 2013 Plan 2 Succeed Consulting was officially born.
Has it been a smooth road?
Struggle became my middle name.
It is not easy to go from getting a steady paycheck every 2 weeks, to having to generate every dollar you make through your own efforts.
The struggle came from having to wear multiple hats. I became the secretary, the accountant, the sales team, human resources team, I became everything, and that was a true adjustment. This journey is not easy, but it is worth it.

I am born and raised in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. I love it here. The Dallas metroplex is a great place to start a business. Not only does DFW have a thriving economy, but tons of events for small businesses. Dallas is a champion for small business, and I can’t say enough great things about this great city.
