Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Migliore.
Anthony, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Growing up in Abilene, a small city in West Texas, helped me become who I am today. It is where I learned to believe in myself. I also had a little help believing in myself and dreaming big as ‘Super bowl Champ’, Dominic Rhodes is my cousin. He was adopted by my Aunt, Patsey Rodriguez, when I was a baby just before he became a free agent for the Indianapolis Colts. When Dom won the super bowl, I was 14 at the time. Having someone that used to hold me as a baby win a Super Bowl and mentor me later on in life inspired me more than I will ever know. After High-school, I desired to move to Dallas and walk on the Baseball Team at Mountain View College. I tried out in the fall of 2012 but did not make the team. The following year, I tried out again and made the team. I decided to use my 2nd year of eligibility my third year at the school, and was elected team captain that year and graduated with an Associate of Science degree and a 3.2 GPA.
After playing at Mountain View, I tried out at UTA, but unfortunately, I did not make it and left after one semester. I was beginning to feel like my collegiate baseball career was over until I received a phone call from a recruiter to play baseball for Texas College in Tyler. After enrolling into Texas College, I found out I was deemed ineligible my first year, but I earned a scholarship academically before earning academic Legacy honors. My senior year, I made the baseball team while earning a Bachelor of Biology degree in May of 2018. When it was all said and done I went from not being recruited out of high school, to being a walk-on in college after trying out my fourth try, to becoming a team captain, and earning two degrees as well as being a 2x Legacy scholar, and ended with an overall 3.92 GPA.
While attending Texas College, one of my Teammates, K.J, my best friend and the first of many artists I now manage, began collaborating on music before creating our own music Label we call AMPM (All Money Profit Millions). We started AMPM and now have one official artist and 3 unofficial. KJ goes by the name ‘Kaytta’ for his music persona and He now has one album, ‘First Forever’ and an EP called ‘Kaytta Krazy’. Both are out on all major platforms, and he has a second album on the way.
After graduation, I moved back to Dallas in August of 2018. I couldn’t find a career in biology or environmental science immediately as I wanted, so to begin paying for rent and bills, I began working a temporary position in a warehouse at Nippon Express before being fired three months later in December of 2018. Just before getting fired, I had learned about an opportunity as an affiliate marketer of Hempworx CBD oil, so the day I got fired I decided to take a leap of faith and join Hempworx. I got a 250$ loan from my brother Darius Joseph, before I joined the business, and have now been an affiliate of Hempworx for 7 months. I can honestly say CBD has changed my life for the better. I am an executive in the business now and I have huge plans to partner with Jace Fletcher, great-granddaughter of legendary Dallas’ corn dog inventor, Neil Fletcher. Jace has started her own fried food business this year and has perfected a CBD infused corn dog varietal, and we are both anxiously awaiting legal clarity on the issue so that she can offer the dish to the public at her restaurant opening Aug 1st.
Looking forward now, my plans are to move to the Sacramento, California before either Mesa, AZ or Las Vegas with Kaytta to continue our careers and grow our Label AMPM. My plans now are to turn Migliore Management into an LLC and continue growing my businesses even more. I also began writing my book this year that I am coining “Becoming A Man.” I hope to be finished writing and my first book by the end of 2020.
Has it been a smooth road?
It definitely has been a bumpy road for me at times. After moving to Dallas and not making the baseball team I was unsure of exactly what I wanted to do in life, and then had a fallout with a girlfriend the following year that really changed my life. Also, while working at CVS as a Pharmacy Technician in Grand Prairie I got really sick and lost my voice for some time before developing a stutter that plagued me for about five years and caused me to get my tonsils removed as well as a nose surgery done. Also my senior year at Texas College the coach was trying to ‘rebuild’ so I sat the bench my whole senior year watching my life long dream go by the waist side. My trials and tribulations ultimately made me mentally stronger than ever, but somehow I was always exactly where I needed to be. Then, My health complications and severe anxiety led me to use CBD oil and to start an MLM business with Hempworx, which has helped me mentally and physically improve my health better than I can remember. All in all, I have embraced my past and I look forward to my challenges and blessings ahead of me.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Migliore Management story. Tell us more about it.
I feel what separates Migliore Management apart from other businesses is the versatility. CBD is about to boom and we are partnered with the number one CBD brand in America, and then we have our own music label in AMPM in a day in age where the internet is king and businesses are being built on Instagram or other social media, daily. Migliore Management will succeed because we believe we will. Once I began believing in myself I knew I could do anything. I began believing in KJ’s music abilities before he could see it himself and inspired Kaytta to do music when others had planted doubts in his mind whether a career in music was obtainable or not. I’ve taken the risk on becoming an affiliate of a CBD company when CBD wasn’t fully legal in the state of Texas and now am on the brink of making history in the restaurant business “fletch” and CBD. Sometimes it’s hard to see what you’re conjuring up before it’s all said and done, but I have always seen the possibilities before the roadblocks or the promises before the doubts, and I believe that is was creates a revolutionary business itself.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The CBD business in the next 5-10 years will be huge. CBD will be the ‘headache’ medicine everyone asks for when they are at friends. It will be in every food and drink imaginable, and it is already being talked about on Forbes. The music industry is booming as well now as streams and downloads are paying the artist directly now. There is no better time to start a label and become an artist. I am really excited about what life has in store for Migliore Management, AMPM records, and the CBD industry as well as Hempworx.
