Ade, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am Priestess Ifa Bunnmi. I always knew I wanted to be a minister or spiritual advisor! Most of my life I’ve been studying different religions and ways to connect with God. In 2015, I denounced religion and then started connecting with my ancestors! Within the next year, I found Astro spirituality. In 2017, I became a Priestess of the ancestors and now I’m an Abarisha, A Healer of the community and a student of the mystery system.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This journey has been both smooth and bumpy lol. Smooth because I attract open-minded people who want to learn how to elevate on their own. The bumpy part is helping people believe it starts with them!
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The Art Of Loving Myself story. Tell us more about it.
My business name is “The Art Of Loving Myself” & I have a product line called “Ade’s Treasures”. I started my businesses in 2017. I specialize in helping people get to own their personal power which is a nice way of saying I help them get their shit together. I utilize tools such as tarot cards or cowrie shells to divine to our ancestors or spirit guides! I also assist in teaching people about the importance of spiritual cleanses and having a community to support them during this elevation journey! One of the things I’m most proud of is going to Oak Cliff High School and teaching the young ladies to make self-love waist beads! I am also proud of the fact that I get to travel our country creating events and workshops that expand peoples perceptions on Astro spirituality and their purpose on this earth! What sets me apart from most Healers is that I’m 100% real, I speak from experience and I’m not afraid to curse your out or ruffle your feathers to help you level up!
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I wouldn’t call it luck! I will say that my ancestors have truly been by my side on this journey, keeping me focused and constantly guiding me.
