Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyree Dailey.
Kyree, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started this clothing line of mine because I love clothing and fashion and all I did was design tees and pants of mine. So I just wanted to turn those designs I was doing on other people’s shirts into my own brand/business, all the free time I had I was working on my brand! and what made me more excited about my business is there was so many people supporting and loving the Tees I was making so I started to get serious with it and did everything I could for my brand to be one of the biggest.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For the most part it was smooth but there were a couple of bumps here and there. One main problem was the money part, I didn’t have a good paying job at the beginning of when I started my brand but I was so dedicated I made it work and spent every penny I could on getting a sample or anything. Another thing was where I could get my shirts printed or made it was hard finding the perfect person or spot to do them but I made a way to find it.
Torn Vision – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My company name is Torn Vision and it is a Streetwear brand that makes shirts, shorts, jeans and soon to be more. I am mainly known for making the tee shirts I make for right now because that is what I drop the most of! I am most proud of my very first drop because my very first drop I ever did I made about 1,000 shirts and sold out on every single on except two tee’s and those two tee’s were mine. All that did was push me to be better, I feel like my style sets me apart and how much I work I stay working on my brand.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success can be different for everyone but success for my brand is Bettering the quality of tees or all clothes that is success, gaining followers or more exposure is success and last and most important the sells I get, that is success.
