Meet Eli Smith of Visualsofeli in Plano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eli Smith.

Eli, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Name’s Eli Smith, born and raised in Inglewood, California and moved to Texas in 2010.

I picked up photography in February 2016; it was lowkey a battle between doing photo or video to start off with when I got my first camera in 2015. It was a Nikon Coolpix point and shoot I pushed through with that thing though.

How I got to where I am today is really keep shooting and my team.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every artist has their ups and downs; it comes with creativity. Some of the struggles I had was trying to find myself in my photos and separate myself from everybody else; I can’t really shoot one particular thing all the time I shoot whatever looks good to me. But now I’m confident in what I’m shooting, and the creativity is flowing.

Please tell us about Visualsofeli.
I actually have multiple businesses that other people don’t really know about one being a waterless car detailing company called AquaFree Detailing; another called All We Got Multimedia and my solo business Visualsofeli.

In AquaFree, we specialize in waterless mobile detailing; all we got is really everything to deal with media, photos, videos, and whatnot.
What I’m most proud out of all the companies are that I/we do things a little different that’s traditional things and people sort of love it.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory? Hmm.

Probably landing my first hardflip down a stair set while my homies were watching, that was really cool, I felt hella accomplished after trying to do it for 2 hours.
