Today we’d like to introduce you to Freddy Davis III.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My journey as an artist started in 2009 when my life was forever changed by the love of Christ. I began to write music that identifies who I am and Who’s I am. Upon my growth, I’ve had moments of failing, victories, struggle, depression, addictions, and being at peace with situations out of my hand. I’ve released 4 mixtapes: 1. Led By Faith Project 2. L.I.F.E 3. Transition 4. Spirit-Led Fridays. I just released my 1st single of many called “Anyways” and will continue releasing singles which will stem from my 1st official album “Wounded Worshiper.” As a Videographer just about two years ago Spirit-Led TV began in which I record other artists performances. I know the feeling of capturing that moment and wanting to share your experience with others. Around the same time, I started including small interviews with an artist to help promote their music. As of now, I create event recap videos, interviews, random and relatable topics.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a challenging road, but fulfilling and worth it. Like an Artist, the toughest thing for me was getting out of my comfort zone and understanding my purpose. Same thing with Spirit Led TV. In certain situations, I’ve allowed fear to sike me out of opportunities. As I continue to grow and become more comfortable speaking. I seek more opportunities and find myself improving each time. Gaining confidence in knowing I’m here to be a light and follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I’m a Christian who’s a songwriter, mentor, and videographer. I notice the importance of capturing live performances and interviews. I specialize and known for creating recap/promotional videos artists and businesses. I am most proud of the growth since I’ve started. Knowing more about video, post-production, and preparation before recording. I capture the moments of the artist’s performances and interviews as if it was my own.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Knowing I don’t have to live for anyone’s acceptance besides my Savior.
