Today we’d like to introduce you to Indii Bey.
Indii, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a rising star from Dallas, Tx and creating art of all forms is my passion! It all started when I was acknowledged by the Dallas morning news for an Easter bunny drawing when I was five. From there forward, my passions grew stronger, I began writing and singing (music, poetry, quotes, journaling). I also expanded my passions in the athletic department as well, I naturally took interest in gymnastics then transformed into a competitive cheerleader (All American and High school). Furthering my career as an artist, I attend the Art Institutes for two years for graphic design and gained invaluable techniques and skills in sketching, painting, photoshop, web design, and more. At the age of 21, I became drawn to beauty, fashion, modeling, and photography but didn’t get behind the lens until I was 28. I am now currently a published Model and Writer. I feel so blessed to collaborate with other like-minded artists. It is truly inspiring, I love to create and by bringing my passions to life I am connecting with others. “ A true visionary envisions the desired life they want to obtain, then creates it.”
Has it been a smooth road?
Successful artistry is almost never smooth. That’s the best part, I learned to embrace the challenges because it’s a part of life. The only struggle is learning/knowing that you will face some sort of challenge and training yourself to view them as lessons and not negatively.
What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of as a company? What sets you apart from others?
I am currently a published fashion model and writer. I specialize in creative direction, I have an intuitive eye for the arts whether it be beauty, fashion, modeling, photography, music, and more. My skills set is invaluable because I am original and my one of a kind personality is magnetic which sets me apart from others.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love Dallas, Texas, I love that we are down to earth people. There is a homely feeling that you get when you’re in our city. I feel, that being said, we could connect more like a city!
