Today we’d like to introduce you to Christi Beca.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started Flower Mound Women In Business (FMWIB) in Oct 2015. I had just gone through a difficult divorce, which basically had me starting all over. I was newly licensed in real estate and I was looking to join a few local groups so I could start networking and “get back out there.” After looking for months, I couldn’t find one that I really connected with so the concept for FMWIB was born. We started with only a few members and now have quickly grown to almost 3000 members. Our group consists of all different types of boss ladies, from CEO’s, lawyers, Realtors, small business owners, teachers, direct sales, work from home moms, and everything in between. Our concept and mission statement is simple, successful women who have each other’s backs. We simply help, support, and network with each other in a positive and fun environment, while hosting various charitable events throughout the year to give back to the community we live in and serve. It’s an honor and privilege to serve along with these great women and I could not be more proud of our town and of the women our group represents. FMWIB strong.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I think with anything you start from scratch has its own sets of challenges and this group was no different. I think the hardest part was putting it all together in the beginning and launching our first event. People really didn’t know who we were at the time so it took a while for people to recognize us.. Now it grows organically!

I’m a licensed Realtor in the state of Texas. I run a multi-million dollar real estate business in Flower Mound and I am team lead for Christi Beca Realty Group. I’m most proud of all our accomplishments in serving family with all their real estate needs as well as giving back to the community we work, live and serve.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Aside from all the awards, being able to help two separate single moms escape out of abusive situations and finding new homes for them.
