Thanks for sharing your story with us LaTonya. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
How I got started was by my dad Tyrone Venters. He is a photographer as well and seeing him bring photos to life and making people happy, made me want to do photography as well, and I love taking pictures as well.
I also have a big family and taking photos of all my sisters and their kids are great.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, because you never know what you are going to get or how people will react to there photos once you send them and being able to pick out the ones that you like or they might like.
Also, me being new and trying to build my client list has been a struggle as a well, because you are also competing with other photographers to get business or also being notices as well, and promoting your business.

My Business name came from my grandparents, J- Joann- N-Norris- R- Rose those are my angels that are looking down on me,
Well I’m a photographer, I specialize in doing senior, family, engagement, maternity and any session you would like to have
How I stand out from others is, I make my clients feel like family and that they owe me forever I get to know my clients on personal levels.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Wow, the proudest moments in my career is getting my clients feedback on their session when I send out there photos to them.
Also seeing my mom ( Shallor ) and dad ( Tyrone ) and also my stepmom ( Angela ) and Stepdad ( Darrell ) support my dreams are awesome. I love their feedback every time I send them out my photos, and also I can’t forget about the support I have from the love of my life, Daylon.
Pricing:
- For a 1 hour session it is 75.00 with a 25.00 deposit – you get 20+ edited photos
- For a 30 min session it is 50.00 with a 15.00 deposit 10+ edited photos
