Sara, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Tribe Salon is a place where stylists, aesthetians, lash artists and massage therapists can come to work proud of where they are, know they are supported and truly focus on making each guest happy. At Tribe Salon, we all strive to give each guest the best salon experience they have ever had. Ultimately, we are just a small woman lead a small business trying to make a positive impact in our community. We utilize as much locally owned businesses as possible, we offer weekly pop-ups for building relationships with our creative community. We use an ethically sourced naturally derived product line called Kevin Murphy. It’s ammonia-free and actually leaves the hair better feeling after a color service.
The name “Tribe” came after the owner’s sister was in a medical emergency, Sara noticed that not only were friends jumping in to help but our salon guests, as well as co-workers and other businesses. This Tribe of people came in to help two very humble sisters in a time of need. It takes a Tribe of people to get through various struggles in life that is what tribe is to each other, That is what Tribe is to every guest who walks in our doors. We are a Tribe I every sense of the word.
Has it been a smooth road?
Opening up a business is never easy. Tribe salon is a product of my husband and I diligently researching our best options as they evolve. I will say that without my very supportive family, staff and community Tribe would have never been born. Every decision made is discussed with the tribe, there is no chief here.

We are known throughout fort worth for our extensive knowledge of color, cutting edge skincare technology but what I’m most proud of about Tribe is our connection with our community. we fund-raise every year for Cook children’s medical center’s heart department in honor of my son Landon, who was born with multiple heart defects and has undergone multiple surgeries and procedures. We help out other charity events throughout the year as well.

Fort Worth is the best city on the planet! We are a hub of local business willing and wanting to empower each other and help each other build and grow. Small town feels with big city opportunities.
