Teva, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Well, let me start by introducing myself! Hello, my name is Teva Easter and I am the “CEO of TheBlinkPrint Collection”. My passion for lashes started back when I was in middle school. I would sneak and buy lashes from the beauty supply, go to school early and apply my lashes on in the restroom. I just loved how full my lashes look after I applied the lashes. Lord knows I had glue all over my eyelids but as I keep repeating it over I finally learned how to properly apply eyelashes strips without the extra glue. My family members and friends started asking me to put their lashes on because I put them on so good. Not only do I love wearing lashes but I love seeing the change lashes can do to someone else. Like, “YESSSSS SIS I LOVEEE IT!!!”
Back in 2018, I had a vision about a fingerprint for the brand I wanted to create. I don’t know why a fingerprint but I knew I was going to put it to use. This year, 2019 I decided to put this vision together and create “TheBlinkPrint” that launched in March 2019. The business has been great I didn’t know it was going to be such a great turnout! I’m proud of myself and thankful for those who have supported me and my business.
June 2019 I wanted something new, I wanted to take my time and make changes to what I knew I could do better. I decided to sell completely out and go into re-brand mode. I wanted a completely new look and a better product for my customers. After making changes and launching again business has been slowly but surely getting together! I love and cherish my business so much and appreciate those who’ve been loyal and supported me from the start, and I most definitely appreciate my new blinkies.
Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth road? Tell me when anything you do is easy especially on your own. It hasn’t always been a smooth rode I’ve had my good and bad days. I’ve lost my job, death in the family, and went through depression but GOD has always made a way out of no way. I’ve started this business on my own and I’m still learning pros and cons in this business world. I love every moment though! like I’ve said before I’ve had good and bad days, but the good days outweighs the bad. Sometimes I may forget the post office closes at five, but I make sure I make it there asap and communicate with my customers! I haven’t had a bad experience with a customer I try my best to make them happy first! Other than that business has been taken care of and I’m planning on adding to the collection.
Please tell us about your business.
My business is called “TheBlinkPrint”, I sell 100% handmade 25mm 5D mink lashes and shorter minks. I’m most proud of myself because I found something I love and started it all by myself! I also, appreciate my brand TEAM for helping as well build the business. I plan on becoming a certified lash tech to expand my business and adding more items to the collection. I’m the different best quality for affordable prices! Ladies must rock their blinkies “DablinkWay!”
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love my city always DALLAS is where I was born and raised. I love how BIG our city is but so little support.
