What happens when two high school band geeks reconnect and fall in love – well, Sweet Queen Desserts of course. When we are not baking or reading to our book-obsessed daughter we enjoy all things Star Wars, Bob’s Burgers, Jurassic Park and anime. All of our cakes are designed to custom for each event with a touch of creative love and a bit of artistic flair. We pride ourselves on delivering desserts that taste as good as they look. Sweet Queen Desserts is an award-winning bakery that has been recognized for its outstanding achievements in both pastry and cake design.
Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth roads don’t exist in business. We have seen success and failure during our time in business. Our biggest setback was leasing and building out space only to find out it was being illegally maintained and leased. That blow could have broke us but we decided to ask God for guidance and continue growing.

Our goal is to make your life sweeter! We make it our mission to get to know each client’s needs while planning, creating and delivering desserts. We cater to several Dallas-Fort Worth multi-tenant buildings and are most famous for our strawberry cake and banana pudding cupcakes. Our professional and courteous service ensures that we always provide desserts that are visually stunning, delicious and as promised.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Teaching and giving back to the community is at the root of our business goals. We plan to open a storefront that offers grab-and-go desserts and as well as classes for various dessert techniques. Our goal is to use the same space to serve underprivileged youth and teach life skills, basic financial education and business skills.
