Photography has always been so dear to my heart. When I became a mama of two, I wanted to capture every single moment of their life because time goes by way too fast. I picked up my very first camera in 2018 and my dream for photography came to life. I love capturing beautiful, joyful memories. From engagement sessions to Fresh 48’s, It’s my passion to deliver sun-drenched images to my clients that they will cherish forever.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
So far, It’s been a smooth and joyful journey. I am so very thankful for that. Thank you, Jesus!

My business is Kristen Clay Photography. I’m known for light-filled images that portray love and organic moments between loved ones, I think what my sets me apart from other photographers is I offer both digital and real film images. The film is so delicate and soft and I love that I can deliver both to my clients.
What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been very interested in the arts. As a kid, I loved to paint, participated in choir, and took photography classes in high school. Growing up, I loved anything involving hair or make-up. I have always been an extrovert, and love being around people. I worked at Babes Chicken in Roanoke, TX for 8 years, and am still close with the friends I made there.
