Meet Ciza Donald

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciza Donald.

Ciza, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My name is Ciza Donald. Stage name Lil Crama. My original place of birth is central Africa. I grew up in East Africa Tanzania. Coming to America nine years ago Exposed me to so much opportunity. My first passion in life is music. I started out singing in the choir at church and dancing for family and friends at community events. So easily when I had the choice and so many paths to choose from I chose the entertainment industry. My music is lyrical rap mixed on top of heavy hip hop beats with bass. I rap in both English and my native language of Swahili. This allows me to connect to a larger group of people. I love to engage with audiences and make people happy and energized. My music has grown over the years to cater to all types of people from young to old and any demographic. I am now working to launch my brand TCH (The Crama Hustle) as a platform for my music and to advise another aspiring artist.

Has it been a smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been smooth at all. And as an international artist and independent there have been many hardships to overcome. I have had to budget my finances as an independent artist to include my shows music compilation and marketing myself to my fans and potential fans. Much more comes with being an independent entertainment act. I have also had to change the people around me to better suit the high level of artistry that I strive to accomplish.

Please tell us about your work.
The Crama hustle entertainment is a platform to help myself and other artist breaks into the music and entertainment industry with a dedicated team. We incorporate a business model in our branding by encouraging entrepreneurship from our artists and affiliates. Our area of expertise is the great American hustle of capitalizing on every area of interest we can through the attention of our artist’s fan base.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like the friendly atmosphere. There are many groups for young entrepreneurs and it is easy to network and make lasting connections. The thing I like least is how much the market is constantly changing. It forces creators to be extra fast and sometimes the art is rushed.
