Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Green.
Brandon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I met my partner, Chris McLucas, at a car wash where he was getting his Rolls Royce cleaned. After hearing how much his car was worth, I asked him what he did for a living. He owned a title company. After speaking for a little while, he gave me his card because he liked my attitude and set me up an interview. He hired me three weeks later as an Escrow Processor (scanning and making copies of documents).
Years passed and I was promoted to an escrow officer and eventually worked my way up the company to become national closing manager. I built reputation for a hands-on approach to title work with clients
As I began to get a more internal perspective in title industry I realized not a lot of minorities in the field and decided to branch off and start own company
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it has not. In the title industry, you learn something every day, but I’m happy it hasn’t been/isn’t a smooth road because it taught me to react and adapt to certain situations.
I have improved on my time management skills/and adjusting to different personality types.
Please tell us more about your work.
A Title company reviews the title to a specific property to legitimize it clear for transaction/provides insurance to properties to protect buyers and sellers from any unforeseen occurrences or claims that may cause a dispute over the property, preventing the transaction from taking place.
Proudest moment of career?
When I started to see my life change based on the success of my career.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I wouldn’t change anything because I have learned a lot in my journey that helps me in my business.
